OUR STORY

Commercialization Reactor, as a private entity, has dedicated over 15 years to assembling brilliant minds and refining the art of sustainable deep-tech startup formation. This effort has focused on understanding and addressing key elements such as the human factor, development stages, culture and ethics, relationships, and team dynamics.

The proprietary methodology for startup creation is built on the belief that both Science and Entrepreneurship demand full-time commitment, seamlessly integrating these disciplines into a cohesive framework for success.

In 2018 CR launched deeptech pre-seed and seed funds, becoming also an investor. Its portfolio currently consists of 40 ventures.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS

#1 Deep-Tech Program in Europe

In November 2023, Commercialization Reactor was awarded 1st place for its “Creation-to-Capital Cycle” program by EIT “Deep Tech Talent Initiative”, which is the flagship initiative within the agenda for achieving the goals set by the EU in the deep technology sector.

Since November 2024, Commercialization Reactor has become an operator of ESA BIC Latvia – European Space Agency Business Incubation Centre.

After completing the sessions, we will collect feedback. For those whose research aligns well with the CR methodology, we will schedule one-on-one meetings.

Designed for 15+ scientific teams selected by CR to move forward. Research groups will present their work to an audience of entrepreneurially minded individuals. By the end of the event, teams will be matched and new startups will be formed.

8-week support program for new-born proto-companies

This is 8-weeks SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR NEWBORN PROTO-COMPANIES during Ignition Event. Starts within 10 days AFTER Ignition Event and provides a practical, step-by-step roadmap to bring your research through the entire commercialization journey.
